Michael Kors introduced ‘Watch Hunger Stop’ with a longterm partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). He is dedicated to create a world with zero hunger. Their goal? Provide 1 million meals!
They’re asking us and our friends to create a digital T-shirt (12,50 usd) that explains what we want to do today, tomorrow and in the future. From making someone laugh to helping a friend to help ending hunger. Every T-shirt posted they will donate 50 meals to children in need.
1 WATCH = 100 MEALS. They introduced the Bradshaw 100 watch collection.“My goal in creating these pieces is to offer our customers something desirable that not only raise money but also raisesawareness and gets people talking,” – Michael Kors.
You can link this to Experience Economy because people are paying for someone else’s experience, they’re paying for their meals. You can link this to leisure because eating is something you do in your free time. This is something that is very interesting for the future. Michael Kors creates awareness for the problem. He gives people an opportunity to help. This is something more companies or brands can do in the future to let people know what is going on in the world, and give them a way to help.
